Introducing Leaf Ties. Possibly the coolest reimagining of a boring product I have come across. It suddenly has made the zap strap ‘want-worthy’. Each pack of Leaf ties contains 12 beautifully designed straps, some with one leaf and some with two.

These not only feel great, but they also do an excellent job at organizing cables and look great while doing it.

My favorite thing to use them for is organizing the loose cables of my Apple products. There’s something about adding a leaf to my apple that makes it seem like they were meant for each other.

Memo Mountain is one of my new favorite office accessories. It’s a cork board that’s perfectly cut into the shape of a cute little mountain range. It can be mounted on your wall for you to stick all your pictures and notes on and magically leaves no sticky residue behind. But here’s the kicker:

Being the plant guru that I am, I was happy to test out this cool gadget from Pieter Laga called Petal Drops, from Quirky.

It’s a plant inspired product that reinvents the funnel, turning your old containers into green “bottle plants”. There are 4 very useful leaves which catch the rain and provide ample nutrition (far superior than tap water) for your indoor plants.

Petal Drops will fit around any water bottle or pop bottle allowing you to re-use your containers and do your part to make the world a little greener.

Here’s a really fun gift for the golfer that has it all. Camo Balls. And if you thought Golf was hard before, well how does losing your ball even after the perfect shot sound?

Now I’m not saying I recommend these for the PGA, but if you are a military golfer then these probably are your perfect match. If you play the left side of the fairway, then the right, then the left, then the left, right, left – you know what I mean.

The Office Grass Patch. Beauty.

I dunno about you, but one of my favorite things to do at the office, besides working, is take my socks off. It’s quite liberating. Especially when the dogs are barking.

And you know what else I like?

Running on grass with bare feet.

But I’ve always secretly wished that somehow, I could combine both of these simple pleasures without having to worry about stepping in a discarded needle. But alas, I never could.

Update: Well, clearly you can go wrong. After completely testing the office grass patch we are severely disappointed. It’s complete crap. There are little pieces of silk floss everywhere. It looks like the Green Giant invaded the grotto at the playboy mansion and left behind tiny little green hairs in the pool. It’s sick. Just sick. And it smells of mean butt. Real mean.

Just angry.

Fortunately it was cheap, but now we can see why. It looks like we’ll be looking for a new and better office grass patch so our office gnome has somewhere to stand.

This Bigfoot statue is made out of cast resin and puts those little garden gnomes to shame. I’m sure with garden statues like this, giant foot stepping stones for pathways aren’t far behind – which would be another good garden invention.

I’ve named this one Harry but I’m pretty sure his name is Francis. He’s not usually that mean looking, so don’t be alarmed. He was just locked in a room with Ellen and a Lady Gaga CD for 2 hours before this photo was taken.

I’m in the process of putting up a sign on my gate that says “Beware of Yeti.” I’m not sure if anyone will believe it. But if it stops Dale from electronics from showing up unexpectedly, it’ll be worth it.

These cute little plant pots are the perfect combination of form and function. The form: They look like little logs. The function: They actually let you know when your plant needs water.

I am kind of disturbed that one actually comes in white. It makes me wonder what the heck kind of “logs” these are supposed to be. And then it gets me thinking about dogs that crap white and then it really grosses me out. Because honestly, how the heck does that happen.

But anyway. When the plant has ample water to water itself with, you will see the squirrel in the hole. When your plant is running out of water, the squirrel hides away.

I guess these are trees afterall. Now I’m not saying I like these trees just because the squirrel is orange, but it’s about 95% of the reason. The other 5% was the chance that these trees were in fact dog poop.
