This awesome drum kit is made for the person that just can’t keep their fingers still. It comes complete with all the sounds of a full size drum kit, and is definitely just as fun to play with.

It even comes with a demo button so you can see the entire drum set in action with some awesome preset beats.

The drum kit not only makes cool sounds, it also lights up to boot! So we can drum at night, or even hold your own night time concerts for your friends.

On another note. I’m in the process of training my pet hamster, Marly, to drum for my band. So far he’s doing pretty good with this new drum set. We’re still working on the snare drum, instead of the 360 degree finger spin and ending with the drum roll he just hides in his toilet roll and pees.

It’s a minor detail but we are going to hold all our performances until this issue gets sorted out.

Holy Mary Mother of Godzilla. That’s what.

It’s Nunzilla!

This awesome retro toy just winds up and walks across the table. Oh wait, did I just say JUST winds up and walks across the table?

What I meant to say was it just winds up and walks across the table with freakin’ sparks flying out of it’s mouth!

This cool blast from the past not only winds up but flings sparks from it’s mouth like those retro sparking toys from way way back in the day. Awesomeness.

Don’t worry, it’s pretty much safe.

Pretty much.*

If you have older children, or if you just need one yourself, there is a high likelihood that you’ll need to be browsing for laptops or netbooks this festive season. The Sony Vaio is set to be one of the best sellers in the laptop world due to its fantastic specs and fashionable appearance. This netbook has a 14” screen, has wireless connectivity and even has its own Blu-Ray player- perfect if you’re a film buff. It has a 500G hard drive as well as 4GB of RAM. The aesthetics of the Vaio is what makes is even more special; rounded edges, light up lids and a range of colours, including blue and pink. This is a versatile laptop that would go down well under anyone’s Christmas tree.

If there are any little boys in the family, this will be sure to be on their Christmas list. This interactive truck is designed to make play time beneficial to kid’s development. Stinky sings dances and asks inquisitive questions. He can also answer questions with one of the 90 phrases he has built into his memory. He has motion and direction sensors, meaning he knows when to come alive all by himself. The best part is, he looks the part. He has a Transformer-esque feel about him, which kids instantly fall in love with. You can buy Stinky for around $50.00.

This is another piece of tech for the younger tech-lovers, but not one to be snubbed. Ferrari have released a child sized Ferrari car which is the closest it’s ever been to its adult counterpart. The mini replica is made by Ferrari and even carries an authenticated Ferrari badge. It reaches speeds of up to 5mph and has its own alloy wheels and forward and reverse gears. This mini Ferrari doesn’t come cheap- you can buy them for around $700, but are definitely the real deal.

Get your red hot ferrari your kids can ride on here

7. Call of Duty Black Ops

Call of Duty Black Ops is one of the most anticipated games in the history of gaming. Modern Warfare 2 smashed previous sales records (4.7 million) and Black Ops is set to smash them all over again. It has been said that Black Ops looks set to take more money on its first day than Toy Story 3 did- showing how popular the game actually is. So what sets Black Ops apart from previous editions? There is an in-game currency, allowing you to buy or upgrade your weapons in exchange for virtual cash. There will also be a split-screen feature for Xbox users, allowing them to upload in-game clips of their best moments. This is sure to be on top of any avid gamer’s wish list this Christmas- if they didn’t queue up on its release date!

Get Call Of Duty Black Ops Here

6. Samsung Galaxy S

It was tempting to have the iPhone 4 as my choice of smart phone in this list, but I’ve opted for something a little different. Android phones are becoming very popular at a fast pace- and for a reason. The Galaxy S has some excellent features, like a 5MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, multi-touch screen and has a micro SD slot for more memory should you ever need it. It also weighs 19 grams less that it’s Apple competitor, even though it is slightly bigger to hold. The Galaxy S is slightly cheaper than an iPhone 4, and retails for around $600 for the handset. You can take out contracts for this Samsung model on most mobile phone networks.

Find a deal on a Samsung Galaxy S here

5. iPod Touch

The iPod burst onto the music scene in 2001, and we’ve never looked back. The iPod revolutionised the way we listen to music- the Discman is a thing of the past. The iPod touch differs from the original iPod as it allows you to do so much more than just listen to music. You can now browse the web, watch movies, read books and download apps- the only thing missing is the ability to make phone calls. The iPod touch has a Wi-Fi connection, as well as 2 cameras. The cameras are useful when using their new app FaceTime, where you can talk to your friends face-to-face via your iPod Touch or iPhone. The best part is, it’s quite affordable. You can get the latest version of iPod Touch for around $220.

Grab your iPod Touch Here

4. Xbox Kinect

Xbox’s attempt at hands-free gaming is pretty exciting- you don’t even need a controller. This is set to be a big contender for the top spot of many people’s Christmas lists. The Kinect is essentially a strip of cameras, sensors and voice recognition technology which means you can control the console and play games without having to touch anything- something which until a few years back seemed very advanced and futuristic. There are around 15 games to accompany the Kinect, or you can buy the Kinect and a bundle of games for around $480.

Shop for an XBox Kinect here

3. PS3 Move

This is the PS3’s version of the wireless/motion sensor gaming experience. The PS3 Move has a controller (like the Nintendo Wii) which tracks your movement from the Playstation Eye camera. The reason why the PS3 Move is placed above the Kinect is because the graphics of the games are said to be excellent- something the Wii and the Xbox haven’t yet mastered. Unlike the Wii, you can recharge the controllers instead of messing around with batteries. The PS3 Move starter pack, which will consist of the camera and a controller, as well as a starter game will set you back around $70.

Get your PS3 Kinect and controllers here

2. Amazon Kindle

Reading will never be the same again. Gone are the days of lugging a bag full of heavy books around with you- now you can store your books in an electronic e-reader. The Kindle weighs less than a standard paper-back book, and can store 3500 books on its memory. The newest version has built-in Wi-Fi which allows you to browse and buy books online whenever you feel like it. One of the most appealing features of the Kindle is that, when fully charged, the Kindle will last a whole month without running out. You could also say that you’re doing your bit for the environment as well. The Kindle is also so popular because of its affordable price- you can bag a Kindle for around $140.

Pick up a new Amazon Kindle Here

1.Apple iPad

Probably not the most affordable item on the list, but definitely the most sought after piece of tech on the market. The first ever tablet bounced into the gadget world in April 2010 and the world went iPad crazy. 3 million iPads were sold in the first 80 days of its release, due to its fashionable appearance and versatile digital capabilities. All of your music, books, movies, games and social networking tools are available on the iPad, as well as an internet browser and countless apps. Apple lovers will fall even more in love with iPad as it features the same menus and icons as the iPhone or iPod, meaning there is a sense of familiarity with the product. You can get yourself a 16GB iPad for about $550.

Pad the stocking this year with an iPad here

The best thing about this gadget are the variable controls to determine your threshold. I’ll give you a hint, when your hand starts to turn black, two notches before that, that’s your threshold.

Don’t worry. I have no idea what I’m talking about either. Screens always had moving pictures. But apparently Etch-A-Sketch has sold 150 million of these bad boys. Which makes sense because it seems way better than what I played with when I was a kid.

Here’s an old game with a new twist: the Hot Potato. You toss it around like the old Hot Potato, but when you get stuck holding this one you’ll crap your pants while being electrocuted. Sure it’s a fun game and all–if your idea if fun is dipping your nuts in water and having your friends zap you with a taser.

It lights up, you never know when it’s going to ZAP, and most importantly, it’s dangerous.

So needless to say this is the perfect gift for all teenagers.

This “Sub Jumpa” may sound real gangsta, but it’s pretty ghetto. I’m not sure if it was ever tested before it hit the shelves. Actually, if it was actually tested it wouldn’t have hit the shelves. So there you go.

I dunno about you, but the last time I tried jumping under water I almost died and quickly had my trunks hanging onto my ankles for dear life.

There’s no way to improve this one folks. There won’t be a Sub Jumpa 2. And if you thought that guy on the box looked like he was just balancing underwater to make it look like he’s jumping–you’d be right.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t miraculously find a way to stop water from making you sink and float simultaneously. But just in case they did, this is probably the best $59.95 plus shipping you could ever spend.

Not gonna lie. Two-Lane Blacktop is a cult movie. This would be incredibly boring to anyone that isn’t totally obsessed with cars. Featuring a 1955 Chevy Hot Rod and only two things going for it – speed, and two dumb drivers with no jobs. Nice.

The Striped Tomato. This TV show was remade into a movie in 2004 but the original series stays a true classic. It’s a pretty sweet ride, but you don’t have to take it from me, even Clint Eastwood made a movie about it.

Get the Starsky and Hutch Car Kit here

This car made the list like previous autos, gadgets aside, it’s pure muscle. Surviving real car chases in the movie without special effects was huge. Steve McQueen will admit to being a little over zealous with the tire spinning, but hey, it’s better than spinning yarn.

Okay, so this car isn’t even real but if it were, it’d be fast. Real fast.

This car can go Mach 5, upside down and stay glued to a road like it’s on rails. Reminds me of the way I drive.

Yes, Luke Skywalker actually made other movies. But this one isn’t too far off from Star Wars. This 1971 Corvette has more bells and whistles than the Death Star and get’s the male species breathing heavier than Darth after a pilates class.

Herbie couldn’t speak, but he definitely had personality, and a name. Herbie. He was a moody little car that had a bunch of gadgets and could do everything but wag his tail. He’d even tinkle oil on your leg if you looked at him funny. And sometimes if you didn’t.

Another concept car, with possibly the best gadget of all, MJ. This car doesn’t turn into anything, but it does turn BACK into Michael Jackson! The coolest thing ever? – Seeing this car go in reverse. Moonwalker stylez.

The 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe is probably the coolest car Mel Gibson ever drove resulting in the coolest movie he ever made. His career kinda went all downhill after that: He sported a mullet in a cop car, wore a dress and screamed freedom in front of hundreds of people, and even had to give women everything they wanted.

Get your Mel Gibson Mad Max Toys here

The Ecto-1 was the first car to respond to the question “Who you gonna call?”. Because seriously, how many cars do you know of that can store ghosts in gas tanks?

That’s a rhetorical question.

A-Team 1983 GMC G-Series (G-15) Van had a Ruger AC556 fully automatic rifle, with folding stock and flash hider firing 5.56x45mm NATO rounds.

And if that wasn’t all, it had a pretty freakin’ addictive theme song. Dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun.

The original Optimus Prime was the coolest Peterbilt ever made. When I’m filthy rich I plan on having a life size replica of this truck AND all the other original transformers to boot. Every time we start up and head to the the car shows I plan on tooting the horn and yelling “Roll Out!” I don’t care how corny it sounds. I’m doing it.

Well, since you haven’t, I’ll go as far to say that the Batmobile can do everything but take you to the dance, because really, this car has anchors, oil guns, hooks, flame throwers and more gadgets than all Bond cars combined. Plus, when driving it, you can have the luxury of showing up to parties and say “I’m Batman.”

The DeLorean DMC-12 was a pretty sweet stainless steel car modified into a time machine using a flux capacitor with a plutonium-fueled nuclear reactor generating the required 1.21 gigawatts of power. The car travels to a programmed date upon reaching 88 miles per hour sending you back to 1955 without breaking a sweat.

Piece of cake.

On top of that, featured above is one of the coolest new gadgets that is perfect for any Delorean Model Car you may have. It’s called the Levitron. It’s a platform that uses magnets to make things float. Sweet.

The General Lee is a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T and is muscle at it’s finest. Besides being a jumping car, this car is orange. Which is all it needs to be number 2.

The electric skateboard is pretty rad. I appreciate this gadget even though I can’t stand on a skateboard for more than 2 seconds without falling on my butt. The coolest thing about this electric skateboard is that it will carry a 240 pound person uphill. I can’t think of all the times that I’ve wanted to send a 240 lb person uphill just for fun to see the look on their face. Priceless.

Here’s what they have to say about it:

This is the electric skateboard that can accelerate to a top speed of 19 mph in three seconds. Powered by a 36-volt battery, the skateboard’s 600-watt motor provides enough horsepower to propel riders up to 240 lbs. over smooth terrain–even uphill. At a hefty 40 lbs., it is built as a classic longboard with a kicktail with 4″ diameter solid urethane wheels and flexible trucks allow you to carve 8′ turns. A patented handheld wireless trigger remote provides digital proportional control over your speed; pulling the trigger accelerates and moving it forward brakes. The 10 1/2″ wide, resin and maple veneer deck is textured with a non-skid surface that provides reliable footing. The rechargeable battery can be removed and provides a range of 10 miles from a four-hour charge using the included adapter.

Well there you have it. I recommend wearing a helmet. And, if you are one of those douchebags on youtube that put your pug, pet squirrel or frog on it, give them a helmet too. I mean, really. Safety first people.

First there was the hula-hoop, then the pogo-strick, then the pogo-ball….but still the world begged for a new street toy for children. Finally, their cries were answered.

This electric scooter goes up to an impressive 15 mph and runs on a 250w battery. Which is basically the same power as my washer and dryer, but less fun.

I tried riding down the street on my dryer one time and it was no where near as smooth a ride as the euro scooter.

And even though both dried my clothes in about the same, this scooter has a radio and is easier to steer.
