This Solar Phone Charger from WirelessGround is very handy. It may in fact save your life. It also makes you less dependant on being near a power outlet when using your portable devices. You can pre-charge it before you head out – it basically works like a light-weight portable battery that be charged by a power outlet, your computer or even using the power of the sun. Which is a good thing, because with this “global warming” business it seems there’s plenty of sun to go around.
An LED light turns red when the Solar Charger is charging up (either from sunlight or through the AC Adapter). The LED light turns green once the Solar Charger is fully charged. Piece of cake.
This gadget reminds me of the time I was stranded on a deserted island, I had no food or water. I was stuck there for days. I probably should have called for help instead of playing farmville for 8 hours.
