Some of my favorite things are so simple, like ice cube shapes for example. Here’s a list of some of my favorite Ice Cube Trays and related inventions, not including the previously featured Global Warming Ice Cubes!

1. Cool Shooters
Cool shooters are a great way to really keep your drinks ice cold and get frost bite at the same time. Similar to the Ice Tumblers, these can be purchased here. Or from BudgetGadgets here.
2. Bone Chillers
Drink from a stein that’s been chilled to the bone with this Skull and Cross bone Ice Cube Tray! There’s nothing more fun than talking like a pirate, unless you have these cool ice cubes in your glass.
Ice Princess is made from 100% pure food grade silicone, packed in recyclable, peggable clear boxes. This unique ice tray creates magic wands fit for a fairy princess, or if your name is dale from electronics.
Make crazy fish bone shapes to float around in your glass. These are great if you are mixing Swamp Drinks for kids birthday parties, have them floating around in the punch bowl if you normally mix really horrible drinks like me.
Glow Flow Taps are back. Now appropriately named an LED Digital Water Temperature Visualizer Attachment for Water Taps. Nice and short. Thanks Deal Extreme. The original Glow Flow Tap was reviewed by us earlier, but this one is exciting because it’s a bargain.
Just the same as the Glow Flow Tap, when you turn on the hot water the beam of light shines red, and when its cold the light is blue. I made a short little video to demonstrate how the little shorty can make you glow glow glow glow glow glow glow glow.
Our good neighbours from down under have created the Mo:Ben. It’s a handy little compact food container inspired by the Japanese Bento Box. It’s a compact design so you can take it anywhere, pack anything and even has a spot for your fork and spoon/knife. Which somewhat resembles a spork and a spnife which I can proudly say was invented by a Canadian. Overall this is pretty sweet. It makes being lazy actually look cool – which I admire. And to top it off, it’s dishwasher safe.
What did you think I was going to say? It’s orange?
Bubblegum flavored cocktail weenies scare the crap out of me. I’m not sure if it’s because they are telling me right on the package that kids love them or that they actually call them Wienies. This scares me, why do they spell it that way? And how do they know kids love them spelled that way!? How would they know? Have they done studies? Is there a department for this? Terrifying.
I have to admit, making things smaller does make them tastier. I also like those little mini corn cobs, and those mini cucumbers? Intense. So maybe making bubble gum corn cobs and cucumbers are next?
