Tritium Keychains glow for 10 years without batteries. This is because Tritium is actually radioactive.
I know. The idea of buying a keychain that you put in your pocket, next to your nuts that has the potential to break and leak radioactive liquid doesn’t sound so appealing. But I like to think you’ll probably just end up with super powers, or at the very least a third nut. And knowing that this is made in China pretty much instantly guarantees you a third nut.
So it seems like a win win situation. Three nuts, and a glowing keychain.

Every once in awhile at One More Gadget I like to post something that totally defies science and will completely blow your mind.
Introducing colored fire. In the form of Birthday Candles of course. These bright reusable candles burn coloured flames to match their bases. That’s hot.
These party favorites will burn in five brilliant colours, up to 7 minutes each. However, I’m not too sure about you but I think the average burn time for a regular birthday candle is about 10 seconds. So that means if you play your cards right you could technically have these candles for like….58 years.
A box of 12 dripless candles include at least 2 each of Red, Orange, Green, Purple and Blue. Simply replace the caps and store to use again. I’m not sure what chemical they use to change the natural colour of fire, but these are made out of plastic so…I’m sure 58 years from now if you start to grow a foot on your face, let me know.
Some of my favorite gadgets include keychains with laser pointers and flashlights. Mainly because I like annoying people by shinning them in their eyes and then easily hiding it in my pocket. Here are some of the best LED flashlight keychains available from Deal Extreme:
2-in-1 LED + Pointer Flashlight is probably the most compact and versatile key chain around. It’s slim and can easily blend in with your other keys on your key chain. Both lights can work at the same time or separately and the LED is bright enough for any purpose.
White Flashlight Keychain 22000mcd is a very tiny super bright keychain. It works just by squeezing it, but also has a tiny little button if you prefer to leave it on without squeezing. It’s not as clear looking when it has the battery inside (see video below), but overall is a very compact flashlight.
Ultra-Value Bright LED Keychain Flashlights – Black (2-Pack) is similar to the clear one but a little more sleak looking and also comes in this great value pack.
Super Bright 7-LED Mini Flashlight (4xLR44) is by far the brightest flashlight I have seen. It’s more powerful than any full sized flashlight I have ever owned. The light is very focused so it really brightens up a room. Is also freaked me out when I put it up to my wrist and the light went right through. Yeah, pretty gross.
These type of things are useful if you need to find something in your purse (if you are girl) like chapstick for example. Hey, you never know when you’ll need a flashlight so its always great to have one handy. And besides, shooting a light in someones eyes never gets old.
I’ve always been a pretty uber fan of organizing my things and being a total neat freak. I do afterall still have my original nintendo games in coloured plastic cases – alphabetized.
So when these new Cordotz came out I basically threw my hands to high heaven and said thank you. Thank you. Oh heaven thank you, or something to that extent. I can’t totally remember beause I was eating a really really good donut at the time.
But anyways, think about it. Gone are the times where the cords just annonymously went into your power bar and held on tight when you pulled one at a time to see which light went off while praying you computer would stay on.
